Once the new build house had been handed over on the 03 Dec 2010 we still had a long way to go to make it into a home. We waited for the downstairs carpets to be fitted and the heating switched on and then, in some of the worst weather for years, moved a few things into the house on the 23 Dec 2010. Wendy unexpectedly had to work on Christmas Eve morning so was squatted in the carpeted lounge on a computer whilst Ray unloaded requirements for the quiet Christmas into the house.
