Church Field

Follow the progress of the renovation of our home on the Kyles of Bute in Scotland. We started in June 2021 and we have still a long way to go. The house plans below show the existing property and the proposed plans for renovation, although those will have changes made to them due to the increased building costs since we started this process. Follow us as we creep towards having a beautiful coastal home.

There are overall photos and descriptions and then each room or space done separately as very little will be untouched.

Church Field - As Is

This is a plan of Church Field, as we bought it in 2021. The house was built in the early 70's for a Naval Architect. It is solidly built, with 3ft of concrete put in where 1ft would have done, and has lots of potential.

These are the proposed plans, although there will be further changes made because when we had these drawn up it was before building costs escalated and we have pulled back on some of the changes.
