A day in Salamanca. Today we went over the border to Spain. A lovely architectural city with beautiful carvings, even an astronaut on an ancient cathedral. Added to the carvings when they had to redo some of the ancient carvings that had dissolved. 

We started the day in a market with wine and tapas. Don't look too closely at the butchers stall photo if you are easily shocked by them selling everything when an animal is butchered.

A tour of the city by a guide and then a few hours to go shopping. I bought nothing except ice-cream, the same can't be said for others in the party!

It said it was 44° today as we walked back to the coach! Australia, earlier this year, was obviously just the warm-up act for us.
