Bedroom 3

In June 2021, as we moved in, Bedroom 3 was a holding room. A large room situated downstairs behind the lounge that could take mattresses and beds, boxes and bits, furniture and fittings all quite easily. It still had a number of bedroom cupboards in it and these we removed quite quickly as they were dated and not to our taste. We painted it white and, when we had visitors with a baby, put down underlay to make it a little more comfortable until we were ready to finish it. We also added thermal curtains as this is on the rear of the house and gets colder than some of the other rooms. We have used it as a guest bedroom until now (Nov 2023) just with these updates.

Now, as the ensuite in the next room is being completed we have painted one corner Dulux Denim Drift, to complement the curtains and had a carpet put down. Semi-finished. It still has woodchip paper all over every wall and the ceiling and the lighting has not been changed. I also need to find the silver/grey table lights that are still in a box somewhere. We did try it out as a dining room to see what it looked like but at the moment it is better as a bedroom until we can get Bedroom 2 sorted out in 2024.
